Indenture made 1 June, 35 Hen. VIII (1543), by which  Robard Sharpe,  and  John Swanton, supervisors of lands &c. of late  Margaret Odeliam, now belonging to the guild of the Purification of our B. Lady, demise to  Nicholas Avies, the elder, roughmason, four pieces of arable land containing by estimation 16 acres in Bury St Edmunds (Bury St. Edmund), for 21 years, at an annual rent of 20s, with consent of the alderman Dye and brethren of the gild.
