Indenture made 14 April, 21 Charles II (1680), by which James, earl of Suffolk, steward of the franchises of Bury St Edmunds (Bury St. Edmund), appoints Jonathan Perry of Bury St Edmunds (Bury St. Edmund), gent. his deputy steward of the said franchises during the will and pleasure of the said earl.
