Indenture made 17 April, 1 Ed. VI (1547), by which Robard Sharpe and Nicolas Avys the elder, supervisors of the lands and tenements given to the town of Bury St Edmunds (Bury St. Edmund) by Margaret Odam, gentylwoman, according to the will of the said Margaret, have demised to William Parke of Bury St Edmunds (Bury), mercer, a shop without a 'soeler' in the Fyshmarket for 21 years, at an annual rent of 8s.
