John Neel grants to D⟨aventry⟩ in free-alms 1½ acres of land in D⟨aventry⟩ , lying over Fischwerehul between the prior’s land and the Daventry-Norton road. In exchange they have given him a croft called Millewardis croft in D⟨aventry⟩ by the Walton road on the west. They also release to him their right in 5 strips at the head of D⟨aventry⟩ towards Drayton, by the high road to Leicester on the north. John Neel grants to D⟨aventry⟩ in free-alms ½ acre of land in D⟨aventry⟩ , lying over Suthbrok under Hauton hill between the prior’s land on the west and the land late of William Randolf on the east. In exchange John receives two roods of arable land under Ryehill between his own land on the west and that of Simon le Champiun on the east. Thomas le Eyr of Falewesle grants to D⟨aventry⟩ in free-alms 5 acres 1 rood in D⟨aventry⟩ , which he bought from John Neel viz. 1 acre in the east field by the land of John de pistrino abutting into Thropwye: 1½ acres in the north field, by the land of Simon Baudewyne , and 1½ acres in the same by the land of Simon Neuwebolde : one acre in the same over Foxholes ‘siue Chonic” [? = conigeram, a warren] by the land of the prior: — rood in the same shot by the prior’s land. John Werrour of D⟨aventry⟩ grants to John Brown of Norton, senior, and John Brown of Norton, junior, 22 acres 1 rood in D⟨aventry⟩ and Drayton, 11 acres late of William Gym , and 10 roods of meadow in D⟨aventry⟩, which were formerly held by the said J. B. senior; also 5 roods of meadow late of Edward Porter , and 12d. of rent in Throp by D⟨aventry⟩ from the tenement which Richard Falclyff holds. Henry Perkyn of Southam and Matilda his wife have made John Hayewode of D⟨aventry⟩ their attorney to give Thomas Nassyngtone, clerk, Thomas Everdone of Snottescombe and John Yrmonger of D⟨aventry⟩ seisin in their messuage in D⟨aventry⟩ over Cornhulle between the messuage of Nicholas West and that of William Stavertone , with 4½ acres of arable land in D⟨aventry⟩ and Drayton; and to deliver seisin to the same of another messuage in D⟨aventry⟩ in le Swyneschepyng, which the grantors have for the life of Johanna late the wife of John Rede of N⟨orton⟩ .
