Joan Boteler , widow of John Boteler of D⟨aventry⟩ , grants to Nicholas Catesby, esq., Edmund Newenham , William Staverton , and Thomas Graunte , gentlemen, 4 half acres of arable land and 4½ roods of meadow in D⟨aventry⟩ viz. ½ acre in le Longemersh by the prior’s land, ½ acre over Longemershe Hyll towards Crowehill by the prior’s land, acre over Langdon between the prior’s land; ½ acre under Houghton by the prior’s land: the meadow lies in the east meadow of D⟨aventry⟩ . John Boteler had held these of the gift of John Abbehowse and Nicholas Bateman . Joan has made Robert Lane of D⟨aventry⟩ , yeoman, her attorney to deliver seisin.
