William de la Pole, marquis and earl of Suffolk and of Pembroke, grants to Adrian Spierins, clerk, in consideration of his work certain mines of gold and silver and other metals, all the "testewerke, dedewerke, afterwasshe and slagges" that come from the mines, for a term of 16 years without any payment, and also an annuity of £20 until he be preferred to a stately benefice of holy church fitting his degree.
