Indenture dated 16 October, 4 James I (1606), by which Francis Claxton of Wissett (Wysset, co. Suffolk), gent., in consideration of the receipt of £500, sells to Nicholas Battely the younger, of Rumburgh (Romburgh, co. Suffolk), yeoman, lands, tenements, &c. in Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvile).
