CARLETON COLVYLE, KYRKLE, PAKEFELD, GISLEHAM, MUTFORD, and HENSTEAD. John de Kymburle, parson of Mutford, Roger atte Heth, parson of Todenham, and Edmund Man of Mutford remit and by these presents quit-claim to Ralph Megre, parson of Kessingland (Kessynglond), all the right they have in Carlton Colville called Fastolf's (Fastolf)'s manor, viz. in all lands &c. in Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvyle), Kirkley (Kyrkele), Pakefield (Pakefeld), Gisleham (Gyselham), Mutford and Henstead (Henstede), which they had by the gift of sir Edm. de Hemgrave, kt. Dated at Mutford the Wednesday on the feast of St. Botolph, 29 Ed. III. Charters Suffolk 1262-65 are endorsed as having been exhibited in a law-suit, 15 March, 1697/98.
