⟨Brockford (?)⟩. BROCKFORD. William Keyman of Brockford (Brocford) grants to Roger de Bertone, clerk, for 2s. 3d. the whole of the service that Thomas Gernun owed to him and his heirs, namely, three-pence from the fee of Peter de Hollegate, paying annually one halfpenny. (c. 1230-40.)
John Younges, senior, of Earsham (Earsham, Norfolk) in consideration of the receipt of £50, sells to Richard Burry of Bungay (Bungay in Suffolk), butcher, a tenement called Gildings in Bungay, with a barn and curtilage adjacent. Dated 9 April, 6 Charles I, 1630.
BUXLOW, FRESTON, and FARNHAM. Robert Beker of Stratford St Andrew (Stratford) remits and quit-claims to John Braham of Buxlow (Buxlowe) and his heirs all his right in certain lands, tenements, &c. in the village of Buxlow, Freston, Snape, and Farnham. Dated at Freston, 4 March, 5 Hen. IV (1404).
CARLETON, KELSALE, MONKS-SAHAM, and CRANSFORD. Convention made between the lord Roger, earl Bigot, marshal of England, of the one part, and Roger de Karletone of the other, viz. that the said Roger de Karletone has sold to the lord Roger the whole of his manor and advowson of Carlton (Karleton), with appurtenances in Karleton and Kelsale (Keleshal), and in Monk Soham (Saham Monks) and in the village of Cransford (Cranesford), for 250 marks sterling, to be paid on the vigil and written the octave of Pentecost, 34 Hen. III, in the castle of the said earl Roger at Framlingham (Framingham); and the said earl shall maintain the said grantor's daughter Camille honourably in some manner, until she is 13 years old, and then procure her admission as a nun, but if she refuse to take a religious habit shall then provide her with ten pounds' worth of land.
Warine de Barneby and Alan Reynald remit and quit-claim to sir Robert Spenser, parson of Ellingham (Elgh[am]), sir Edmund de Welles, parson of Beccles, and Richard Megre all their right in the manor of Carlton Colville called Fastolf's (Carleton Colvile called Fastolfes), and in all lands &c. in Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvyle), Mutford, Barnby (Barneby), Lowestoft (Lowystoft), Kirkley (Kirkele), Pakefield (Pakefeld), Gisleham (Gysilham), Kessingland (Kessynglond), Rushmere St Michael (Resshemere), and Henstead (Hensted). Dated at Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvile) the Monday on the vigil of the Nativity of our Lord, 32 Ed. III. Charters Suffolk 1262-65 are endorsed as having been exhibited in a law-suit, 15 March, 1697/98.

William Rypyng of Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvyle), John Denyell, Thomas Whitton, Robert Thyrkeld, Thomas Craske, and Thomas Dolphyn demise and confirm to Thomas, son of John Olderyng, all those messuages, lands, &c. in Carlton (Carleton) aforesaid which they had by feoifment of the said John Olderyng. Dated at Carlton (Carleton) aforesaid, 6 June, 3 Ed. IV (1463).
Thomas Dolphyn of Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvyle), William Rypyng, John Denyell, and Thomas Whitton, at the requisition of Thomas Olderyng of Carlton (Carleton) aforesaid, demise to John, son of the said Thomas, and Alice his wife, Alexander Olderyng, Robert Dolphyn, sen., John Craske, and John Everarde all his messuages and lands in Carlton (Carleton) aforesaid, to hold the same for the said John and Alice and their heirs after the decease of the said Thomas Olderyng and Margaret his wife. Final concord, made at Westminster on the morrow of All Souls, 2 Charles I, by which John Codd and Mary his wife, Henry Coppinger and Sarah his wife, and Richard Burnell acknowledge that two messuages, one curtilage, two gardens, orchard, &c. and certain lands in Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvyle), Barsham, Ilketshall St Andrew (Ilkettishall St. Andrews), and Lowestoft belong to Robert London, sen., and Edmund Smith; for this fine the said Robert and Edmund gave to John and Marya, Henry and Sarah, and Richard, £100 sterling.

Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) the Saturday in the feast of the Translation of St. Thomas, martyr, 9 Hen. VI.
DEBACH. William Gouthe of Clopton (Cloptone), on the vigil of Easter, 31 Ed. I, grants to John, son of Alexander Norman of Clopton (Cloptone) , one piece of land in the parish of Debach, to the sum of 6s. for four years, paying afterwards one mark annually.
