Indenture made between (1) Oliver Brocas of Roch Court alias North Farham, Hampshire, gent., and (2) Thomas Hinxman of the town of North Farham, yeoman, being a lease of (1) to (2) of that part of the manor house of Roch Court in parish of North Farham [details given] and lands, with half the profits of coppice wood or underwood, Oliver Brocas to receive the other half, with common of pasture on South Fareham common, and copyhold lands and closes in South Fareham, Oliver Brocas reserving the right to hold courts for the manor in the manor house (signed and sealed by Thomas Hinxman).

Indenture made between (1) Jane Gardiner of Roch Court, Hampshire, widdow, and (2) Sir Brocas Gardiner of the Inner Temple, London, being a bargain and sale by (1) to (2) of the manor of North Fareham alias Roch Court, Hampshire, with the manor house called Roch Court, and lands in North Fareham, South Fareham and Wickham, Hampshire, and messuages and lands in Sherborne St John, Bramley and Pamber, Hampshire.

Indenture made between (1) Thomas Legh of Ridge Hall in Sutton, Cheshire, and Susanna, his wife, and Sir Brocas Gardiner of Roch Court, Hampshire, baronet, and (2) George Bellamy of Gosport, Hampshire, gent., being a lease for one year by (1) to (2) of lands in the manor of North Fareham alias Roch Court, Hampshire [details given].

Indenture made between (1) Sir Brocas Gardiner of Roch Court, Hampshire, baronet, and (2) John Porter of Swansdell Farm, Hampshire, yeoman, being a lease for 7 years by (1) to (2) of (enfreehold lands [details given], parcel of the manor of Roche Court, Hampshire, and for 1 year of copyhold lands in the manor (endorsed: 'John Porter 26 Sepr 1698 [sic] 7 years 1705. No. 5').

Lease. Oxford, St Martin (Oxfordshire). 3 William and Mary. Apr. 28, 1691. Indenture made between (1) Sir Sebastian Smythe of Oxford, knight, and Dame Grace his wife, and (2) Thomas Hawkes of Oxford, victualler, being a lease for 7 years of a tenement in the parish of St Martin, Oxford, comprising various rooms, listed in the lease, with a schedule of fitments attached (Thomas Hawkes made his mark).

Deed poll of Arthur Charlett, Doctor in Divinity, Master of University College, University of Oxford, and Fellows, acknowledging a lease of 28 September 1698 for 21 years from them to Sir Sebastian Smith, of Oxford, knight, of lands belonging to the Crown Inn, in the parish of Oxford, St Martin.

Lease. Wells (Somerset). 17 Chas. I. June 12, 1641. Indenture made between (1) Sebastian Smith, Doctor in Divinity, Precentor of Wells Cathedral, Somerset, and (2) Robert Rowley of Wells, gent., being a lease for three lives (those of Robert Rowley and Edward Rowley and Thomas Rowley, his sons, of three tenements, three shambles and a vacant plot in the High Street, Wells.

Exemplification of a final concord levied in 1651 (completing a previous imperfect Fine of 1633), by which Thomas and Elizabeth Brocas sold the manor of Bradenstoke cum Clacke, Wiltshire, the manors of Bulsden cum Bentworth and Roch Court, with other lands, etc., in Bulsden cum Bentworth, North Fareham, Mayles, Titchfield, Quabbe, Prolingworth and Wickham, in Hampshire, for £1000 to the Lady Margaret Brocas.

Indenture made between (1) Katherine Smyth of St Mary Strand alias Savoy, Middlesex, widow, formerly wife of Edward Smyth of the Middle Temple, London, esq., deceased, and (2) Mary Wathen of the city of Bristol, widow, reciting a leasefor 21 years by Edward Smyth and Katherine Smyth dated 14 September 9 Chas. I, 1633, to James Wathen, then of the parish of St John the Baptist, Bristol, shoemaker, deceased, formerly husband of Mary Wathen, of a messuage in Christmas Street, parish of St John the Baptist, Bristol, with all goods, implements and household stuff listed in a schedule annexed, being a lease for 21 years by (1) to (2) of the premises (with a schedule of fitments attached) (Mary Wathen made her mark).
