Indenture made between (1) Adyell Baynard of Barclow, Cambridgeshire, doctor of Divinity, and (2) Sir William Gardiner of London, baronet, noting that Baynard had delivered to Gardiner three trunks and a cabinet containing the deeds relating to the estate of Thhomas Brocas late of Beaurepiare, Hampshire, deceased, grandfather to Dame Jane Gardiner, the wife of Sir William Gardiner as heir at law of Thomas Brocas (excepting a lease for 500 years by Thomas Brocas to Anthony Abdy late alderman of London of the manor of Barraper and Bullesdens cum Bentworth and other lands; being a covenant to save harmless from (2) to (1) in consideration of the delivery of the deeds (signed by A Baynard).
