I of £40,000 Tournois to John, duke of Brabant, in which sum King Edward I, conjointly with W. de Valenc' and others, were bound to the said John with a memorandum of the delivery of the bond on the completion of payment to the treasurer and chamberlains of the Exchequer by John, lord of Cuyk.

Final concord made between John [de Middilton] on one part, and Roger and Phylippa [de Lancaster], Nich. and Margery [Corbet], Walter and Alice [Huntercomb], and Hugh and Matilda[Delaval] on the other part [all these wives were daughters and heirs of Hugh del Bolebech, who died 46 Hen. Fine. Netherton (Northumberland). Morrow of St. Hilary, 11 Ed. I (1283). . Fine made in the court of the Bishop of Durham, at Durham, on the morrow of St. Hilary, 11 Ed. I, and 9th year of Bishop Rob. de Lisle, between Alan de Slykeburn and Agnes his wife, plaintiffs, and Robert, son of Henry de Estslykeburn, and Eva his wife, defendants, concerning one messuage, 44 acres of land, and 2 1/2 acres of meadow in Nedderton, by which the said Robert and Eva acknowledge the said tenement to be the right of Alan and Agnes, also they grant that all the tenements which Alice de Ravensworth, who was the wife of Robert, brother of the said Eva, held in dowry, in the village of Nedderton, shall after the death of the said Alice, remain to Alan and Agnes for ever. For this grant Alan gave to the said Robert and Eve 28 acres of land in Estslykeburn.

Indenture made between King Edward III of the one part, and William de Acastre, John Goldbeter, and William de Skelton of the other part, concerning the sale to them of 411 sacks and a half of the wool collected in the Northtrithyng and Estrithyng of Yorkshire, and in the city of York, in pursuance of a grant of 30,000 sacks given to the king by the Parliament held at Westminster the Quinzaine of Easter last past; at the price of 16 marks a sack. Grant from Helias, parson of the church of Pikehale, grants to the house of St. Mary of Charity of Swanebi, situated in his parish of Pikehale, that it may have a cemetery and chantry, so much as pertains to the brethren of the order there serving God, saving the rights of the mother church. Petition of the prioress of Acornbury within the diocese of Hereford, in the marches of Wales, to the king for letters under the privy seal, to release her from the payment of £10 13s. 9d. charged upon her priory, for dyme and half dyme, granted in the last convocation [perhaps the 1 1/2 clerical tenths granted in 1435], in consequence of the poverty of her house, by the war and destruction made in the time of the late rebellion (English).

Grant. Beckington (Somerset) (manor). [c. 1240-1250] (1250). . Grant from Ysolda de Erlegh, widow, to Felicia de Erlegh her daughter that half virgate of land in the manor of Bekenton which Hamo de la Rigge sometime held of her, together with the said Hamo [Hamundum] and all his chattels, and 15 1/2 acres of land of her lordship, paying annually for the same 12d. and one half pound of cummin; to hold the same to her and her heirs, in default to revert to Ysolda and her assigns. Dated considering that the husband of Ysolda died in 1228 (Collinson's 'Somerset') and that Sir Geoffrey Dynhem, a witness, in 1258.

Confirmation by John de Warren, earl of Surrey, son of William, formerly earl of Warren, of the donation of Roger de Clere dated on the octave of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1243, to the abbot and convent of the place of St. Edward, of the land [100 acres] in the manor of Shyre, together with the advowson of the church (copy, late in 14th century).

Agreement, grant. Dedington (Oxfordshire) (manor). Monday next after the feast of St. Edburga, virgin, 10 Ed. III (1336). . Indenture of agreement made between Robert, the prior of Burcestre, and convent of the same of the one part, and John le Man and Amicia Pikhard, and Walter Pikhard, son of the said John and Amicia, of the other, by which the said prior and convent grant to them one messuage and 50 acres of land with its 'cheviciis ' and appurtenances situated in Dadyngton, to hold the game during their lives at an annual rent of 24s.

Convention. Leicester, Augustinian abbey. Feast of St. Mildrith [13 July], 1217 (1217). . Convention (heading torn away) made in settlement of a dispute between the late earl of Lincoln, William, and the late Robert, earl of Leicester [before 1200?], the abbot and convent of the monastery of Leicester of the one part, and the church of Lincoln of the other, by which the manor of Knihteton in the suburb of Leicester is assigned to Lincoln, and the land of Sedgrave with the homage of Stephen de Sedgrave and the mills of Effordeby are granted to the abbey.
