Petition of the prioress of Acornbury within the diocese of Hereford, in the marches of Wales, to the king for letters under the privy seal, to release her from the payment of £10 13s. 9d. charged upon her priory, for dyme and half dyme, granted in the last convocation [perhaps the 1 1/2 clerical tenths granted in 1435], in consequence of the poverty of her house, by the war and destruction made in the time of the late rebellion (English).
