Warine de Barneby and Alan Reynald remit and quit-claim to sir Robert Spenser, parson of Ellingham (Elgh[am]), sir Edmund de Welles, parson of Beccles, and Richard Megre all their right in the manor of Carlton Colville called Fastolf's (Carleton Colvile called Fastolfes), and in all lands &c. in Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvyle), Mutford, Barnby (Barneby), Lowestoft (Lowystoft), Kirkley (Kirkele), Pakefield (Pakefeld), Gisleham (Gysilham), Kessingland (Kessynglond), Rushmere St Michael (Resshemere), and Henstead (Hensted). Dated at Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvile) the Monday on the vigil of the Nativity of our Lord, 32 Ed. III. Charters Suffolk 1262-65 are endorsed as having been exhibited in a law-suit, 15 March, 1697/98.

John de Kymburle, parson of Mutford, Roger atte Heth, parson of Todenham, and Edmund Man of Mutford remit and by these presents quit-claim to Ralph Megre, parson of Kessingland (Kessynglond), all the right they have in Carlton Colville called Fastolf's (Fastolf)'s manor, viz. in all lands &c. in Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvyle), Kirkley (Kyrkele), Pakefield (Pakefeld), Gisleham (Gyselham), Mutford and Henstead (Henstede), which they had by the gift of sir Edm. de Hemgrave, kt. Dated at Mutford the Wednesday on the feast of St. Botolph, 29 Ed. III. Charters Suffolk 1262-65 are endorsed as having been exhibited in a law-suit, 15 March, 1697/98.

Ralph Megre, parson of the church of Kessingland (Kessinglond), grants to sir Robert Spenser, parson of Ellingham (Elgh[am]), sir Edmund de Wells, parson of Beccles (Bekklis), Richard Megre, Warine de Barneby, and Alan Reynald his manor of Carlton Colville called Fastolf's (Carleton Colvyle called Fastolfs), with appurtenances, lands, &c. in the villages of Carlton (Carleton), Mutford (Montforye), Barnby (Barneby), Henstead (Henstede), Rushmere St Michael (Ruschemer), Gisleham (Gyselham), Pakefield (Pakefeld), and Kirkley (Kyrkle). Dated at Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvyle) the Friday after the feast of St. Nicholas, bp., 32 Ed. [III]. Charters Suffolk 1262-65 are endorsed as having been exhibited in a law-suit, 15 March, 1697/98.

PAKEFIELD, CARLETON COLVILE, &c. John Bery of Pakefield (Pakefeld) and Edmund Ponszere of the same place grant to Simon Fowler certain lands and tenements in Pakefield (Pakefeld), Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvile), and Gisleham (Geslyham), which they had by a deed dated 16 Feb. 30 Hen. VI. Dated at Pakefield, 20 August, 21 Ed. IV (1481).
