STANTON. Katherine Busshop, lately the wife of John Busshop of Stanton, deceased, grants to Edmund Man of Stanton, John Shepherd of Bridgham (Bredgeham), and John Fyce of Stanton, a messuage and land called Tabbards in exchange for one piece of land of 8 acres and one rood lying in Stanton. Dated at Stanton, 9 March, 9 Ed. IV (1469).

Gilbert Depenham and John and William Rookwode demise to Andrew Botiller knt. and Katherine his wife and their heirs the manors of Waldingfield Hall Carbonells (Great Waldingfeld) and Chylton in co. Suffolk, with the advowson of the churches of the same, which they had with others by the gift of the said sir Andrew Botiller, kt. Ralph Barton, clerk, James Rutlond of Sudbury (Sudbiry), and others, demise to Isabel Rutlonde, Roger Ponder and James Rutlonde of Great Waldingfield or Little Waldingfield (Waldyngfeld) one piece of pasture in the village of Great Waldingfield (Great Waldyngfeld). Returns of the execution of a writ dated 3 July, 4 Hen. IV (1403), to the sheriff of Suffolk, that he shall make replevin to Philip Miller of Great Wratting (Great Wrottyng) of his cattle which Mirabella Geddyng and others took and detained.
Sir Richard Waldegrave acknowledges to have received of John Doyle 20s. as a reasonable aid both for making Richard his eldest son a knight, and for marrying Isabella his daughter. Dated 12 July, 28 Hen. VI (1450)
CHARSFIELD. Indenture witnessing that on St. Michael's day, 12 Hen. VII, at Letheringham (Letheryngham), between Henry, the prior, and canons of St. Mary, Letheryngham, on the one part, and Thomas Robertsunne of Charsfield (Charsfeld) on the other part, viz. that the said prior and canons grant to the said Thomas 4 pieces of land in Charsfield (Charsfeld), lying in a field called 'Le Sondes,' in Aldeburghfeld, for 60 years, at an annual rent of 12d. [Wrongly listed as Ch. Suffolk 219.]
Simon Greswelle of Bury St Edmunds (Bury St. Edmund) grants to William Galyon of Mildenhall (Mildenhale) and others one messuage in Mildenhall (Mildenhale) at 'le West rowe' called 'Brounsyerd' with a croft and meadow. Dated at Mildenhall (Mildenhale) the Saturday next after the feast of St. Leonard, abbot, 4 Hen. V.
John Jernegan, esq., and 2 others quit-claim to ... all right in a messuage, croft, and land in the village and field of Somerleyton (Somerleton), which they had by demise of John Matson and others, 26 Hen. VI. Dated 10 March, 38 Hen. VI (1460). [Mutilated.]

Robert Ive, esq., grants to John Crane one piece of land in Little Stonham, containing 24 acres. Dated 16 August, 1468.
BLUNDESTON. Thomas Erpyngham, Miles de Stapilton, Brian de Stapilton, Roger de Boys, knights, Oliver Groos, and John de Boys, esqrs., quit-claim to Oliver Roberd of Ingham all their right in the advowson of the church of Blundeston. Dated at Blundeston, 20 September, 2 Hen. V (1414).
EDWARDSTON, &c. Elizabeth, relict of John Lynne of Edwardston, grants to John Chilton of Colchester (Colcestr)', and John Lynne of Edwardstone (Edwardston), certain lands &c. in Edwardstone (Edwardston) and Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld ) and Little Waldingfield (Little Waldingfeld). Dated at Edwardstone (Edwardston), 24 January, .. 2(?) Hen. V. [Almost entirely effased.]
Capel St Mary (Capel St. Mary). 1416. Final agreement between John Fitz Rauff, esq., plaintiff, and William Raynforthe and Alianora his wife, deforciants, by which the latter cede to John, the manor called Churchford Hall (Chirchefordhalle in Capelle), for 100 marks of silver. Completed, within a month of Easter [April 19], 4 Hen. V [1416].
Framlingham. 1414. Final agreement between Richard Bokelande, plaintiff, and John Petman and Margaret his wife, and John Stayntone, deforciants, by which the plaintiffs grants to the said John and Margaret for life, with remainder to John Staynton and Joan his wife, daughter of John Petman, and their heirs, a messuage 27 acres of land and 2 acres of meadow in Framlyngham. Dated the Octave [Nov. 18] of St Martin, 2 Hen. V [1414]: before Nortone J.C.P.
Frostenden. 1418. Final agreement between Christiana, widow of Drugo Barantynes, William Porter, knight, John Beanson, knight, Roger [Joye?], John Burgoyne, William Loksmyths, John Rynelle, plaintiffs, and John Wissyngsete, deforciant, by which the latter cedes to Christiana, for her life, with remainder to the other plaintiffs, and the heirs of William Porter, a third part of the manor of Frostenden, with the advowson of the same, for 100 marks of silver. Completed, within 3 weeks of St Michael, 6 Hen. V [1418], before Preston J.C.P.
Gunton. 1414. Final agreement between Robert Palgraw and Margaret his wife, plaintiffs, and Thomas Kempstone, deforciant, by which the latter grants to the former the manor of Gunton Score (Gunton), the advowson of Guntone, with 14 acres of land, 1 acre of meadow, 3 acres of heath, and 32d. rent in Guntone, Oulton (Oltone), and Corton (Cortone), the property to descend to the male heirs of the said Robert, with remainder to his other heirs. Completed, within 3 weeks of St Michael, 2 Hen. V [1414] and enrolled.
Hawkedon. 1410. Release from Stephen Hepworthe, chaplain, and Walter Herte, to Thomas Josse, sen. of Haukedone, of the right in the lands etc. which he formerly purchased of John Somertone, sen., in the vills of Haukedene and Brockeleye. Dated at Haukedene on Monday [24 March] after the feast of St Edward King, 11 Hen. IV [1410].
Higham. 1445. Power of attorney from William Rykedoun of Cavenham to William Boltone to deliver to Thomas Godarde of Higham (Heigham), William Madour of the same, Walter Chapman of Needham Street (Nedham), and Thomas Keene of Gazeley (Gaysle), possession of a messuage, with 8 acres of arable land, in Heigham, lately held by the said Rukedoun in common with Hugh Hory of Higham (Heigham), now closed by the gift Robert le Warner of Higham (Heigham), John Pykchese of the same, and John Vmfray of Cavenham (Cauenham). Dated, 14 July, 23 Hen VI [1445]. Witnesses: Thomas Heigham, Thomas Cabolde, John Bray, Thomas Cooke, John Cooke of Higham (Heigham), and others.
Ipswich. 1483-1484. Lease from Thomas Heigham, sen., James Hoberd, John Gosse, John Squyer, clerk, and Thomas Draylle, to William Pernelle, William Harlewyne, William Dewe, John Forgone, Robert Benne, and Robert Peteman, of two tenements under one roof, newly built, in the suburb of Ipswich (Gippewicc) in St Clement's parish, between the messuage late of Thomas Bowyere, on the east, and that once held by Emma Belle and the curtilage of Thomas Wade, on the east, the southern end abutting on the highway, and the northern end on St Clement's churchyard, which tenements the grantors lately held by lease from John Cappe, clerk. Power of attorney is given to John Wapone to deliver up possession of same to the grantees. Dated, at Ipswich (Gippewicum), 5 February, 1 Ric. III [1483-1484]. Witnesses: Richard Hawkyswade, and William Sewale, bailiffs of Ipswich, John Kyrre, and William Wymbylle, coroners of the town; Thomas Reydon', esq., John Toughe, Edmund Leggy, and many others.
Kentford. 1432. Grant from John Benne of Kentford (Kentefordre) to John Clerke, chaplain, and Thomas West of Moulton (Multone) of a toft in Kenteforde, net the messuage of John Clerke on the east, and the meadow of William Levote on the west, abutting on the south on the highway, and on the north on the stream. Dated at Kentford (Kenteforde), on Monday [20 Oct.] after the feast of the translation of St Etheldred, 11 Henry VI [1432]. Witnesses.
