Bartholomew, son of Augustine de Walsyngham, remits and quitclaims to Richard, the abbot, and convent of St. Edmund, all right in one messuage, lands, and tenements which were Augustine's, the father of the said Bartholomew, in the villages of Rickinghall Inferior (Lower Rikynghale), Wattisfield (Watlesfeld), and Hinderclay (Hildercle). William de Shellond of Bury St Edmunds (St. Edmund) grants to sir Richard, the abbot, and convent of St. Edmund, in frankalmoigne, 6d. of annual quit-rent arising out of five acres of arable land in Fornham formely Ralph Kempe 's, for the use of the latter. Dated at Bury St Edmunds (St. Edmund) the Thursday after the feast of St. Gregory, 31 Ed. III (16 March 1357).

William Draghton of Bury St Edmunds (Bury St. Edmund) and others confirm to Edward Woderton, Alice his wife, and Thomas Bernyngham, one tenement in the village of Bury St Edmunds (Bury) in the street called le Heyestrete. Dated at Bury St Edmunds (Bury) aforesaid the Wednesday before the feast of St. Luke, evang., 21 Rich. II (17 Oct. 1397).

Indenture witnessing that whereas Ralph Bayle of Bury St Edmunds (Bury St. Edmund), draper, has granted to Henry Kyrton of Bury St Edmunds (Bury) aforesaid and Agnes his wife one tenement in the village of Bury St Edmunds (Bury St. Edmund), in the street called le Heyestrete, it is on condition of their paying during two years without the delay of a single day at stated periods 8 marks and 10s. (c. 1390-1400.)

John Cordebef, chaplain, master of the college of St. Gregory, Sudbury, and the brethren there are bound to the prior and convent of the Holy Trinity, Norwich, in a certain annual pension of 5s. on account of the foundation of the college. Dated in the college, 8 Kl. Feb. (25 Jan.), 1375/6.

CRANSFORD. John, the abbot, and convent of Sybeton grant leave to John, bishop of Norwich, to constitute a vicarage in the church of Cransford (Cranesford), Norwich diocese appropriated to them by him, and to have the right of presentation to the same. Dated the 12 Kl. Novemb. (21 Oct.), 1309.

Laurence Porterose of Long Melford (Melford), .... Sextayn of Aketon, chaplain, John Ormelewe, cutter, of Lound, and Peter Webbe of Acton (Aketon) quit-claim to Roger le Reve of ..., William Bertellor and Roger Pecke of Long Melford (Melford), all their right in all lands and tenements, rents and services in Acton (Aketon), Great Waldingfield, and Sudbury. Dated at Acton (Aketon) the Monday next after the feast of St. Dionisius, 10 Rich. II (15 Oct. 1386).

John Reneshale and John Wisebeche grant to Simon Herde two curtilages, which were formerly John Waryn's, below the bridges of Sudbury, paying annually 30s. of silver. Dated below the bridges aforesaid, 14 Feb., 48 Ed. III (1374).

Roger Parkeyr of Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld) grants to Gilbert Welbe of Acton (Aketon) two pieces of meadow lying in the village of Great Waldingfield (Waldingfeld). Dated at Great Waldingfield (Waldingfeld) the Sunday next after the feast of St. Augustine, apostle of England, 34 Ed. III (31 May 1360).

James ... grants to Adam Gauge and Juliana his wife of Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld) one croft and a way in Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld). Dated at Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld), 2 January, 7(?) Rich. II (1384?). [In part obliterated.]

Robert Dilhegges of Wissett (Wyssete) grants to the lady Petronilla de Nerford and her heirs, a capital messuage in Wissett (Wyssete) with arable lands, woods, fields, &c. which he has in the villages of Wyssete, Rumburgh, Spexhall (Spectishale), Halesworth (Halesworthe) and Holton supplying him with sustenance during his life and half a mark yearly for shoes. Dated at Wissett (Wyssete) the Wednesday next before the feast of St. Mark the evangelist, 4 Ed. II (21 Apr. 1311).

Robert de Vlendene of Coddenham (Codenham) grants to Robert Spake of the same place, for his service and a certain sum of money, two pieces of land in Coddenham (Codenham) in the field called 'Haylond.'
