Gilbert de Neketone of Bury St Edmunds (St. Edmund) grants to Ralph de Mildenhale 9s. of annual rent in the village of Bury St Edmunds (St. Edmund), from a shop situated in the street which is called 'La Rue Marchaunde.' Dated at Bury St Edmunds (St. Edmund) the Friday after the feast of the Nativity of St. John B., 4 Ed. II (25 June 1311). Witn. John de Ingham and John de Lyncoln, bailiffs, Thomas le Cornur, alderman.
