Claydon (Bucks. ⟨recte Oxon.⟩). Richard de Grimescote son of Anselm de Grimescote grants to the same in free alms, (i) one virgate of arable land in Cleydon, which Henry le Hunte once held from him; (ii) and a messuage with a croft, lying between the prior’s land and the road to the church, which William Faber once held from him; (iii) all his right in the land called Presteshurne. Witnesses: Simon de Croprey , John Catheleu , Anselm de Grimescote , Henry the marshal , Gilbert de Walecote . ⟨c. 1260–70.⟩ This charter is written in the same hand as MS. D. D. Ch. Ch. M. 32.

Totham [Essex]. Bartholomew the cook, of Totham , grants to Ivo fitz-Gilbert for his homage and service, (i) that croft in T⟨otham⟩ called ’Tuong’ [or Twonge’ in M. 53.] which lies between the road and Symon son of Anselm ’s land; (ii) one acre of land in the field called Pirifield, lying along the road, shut in by a ditch. Rent: 6d., also the service due to the King, and for scutage 1½d. For this grant Ivo gave 5/-. Oxford.. Christina Pille, widow, grants to Robert de Brackele and Agnes his wife (the grantor’s daughter) for their service, a messuage and 6 cottages with two butts and two acres of arable land. The messuage lies between the prior of St. F⟨rideswide⟩ ’s land and the land late of Robert le Chapeler , in St. Peter’s-in-the-East, without the East Gate. The cottages and butts are in St. Clements’ beyond the Petit Pont, between the land of Walter le teler and that of Henry le tannur . One acre of land lies between the preceptor of Couele’s land and that of the Abbot of Oseney. The other acre, called Havedlond, lies between the prior of St. F.’s land and the bank called Charewelle. Rent: 30/- during the grantor’s life, or else a house for her to live in, worth 30/- (yearly): after her death a clove gillyflower to her heirs, at Easter. Sentence of William, archbishop of York , confirming to the priory of Boulton-in-Craven the churches of Preston, Kyldewyk, and Skipton-in-Cravene (with the chapel of Carletone). Pronounced at Cawode. 29 May 1310.

Kildewyk.. Inspeximus by William, abp. of York , of a charter of John de Lund, prior of Boulton in Craven , assigning to the church of Kyldewyk all portions touching the vicarage except tithes of corn, wool, lambs, and of the mill, dated [9] Feb. 1376 [rectius 1276], and given at Otteley. Given at York. 18 March 1321. Preston.

Leeds.. R[ichard] abbot of Selby , H. treasurer, and L. canon of York , at the command of Pope Innocent III ([9] Dec. [1204]) have passed judgment in a dispute between the priory and the Abbey of Kirkstall over an agreement by which the Abbey was to pay 20/- for the tithes of 4 carucates of land in West Hadinglai, ½ ploughland in East Hadinglai, 2 carucates in West Allerton, and 1 bovate in East Allerton, and to pay tithe for any further land acquired in that parish (Leeds). The Abbey, accused of withdrawing the 2 ploughlands in East Allerton, objected that they had received the tithes and paid the rent for 50 years with right unshaken. It is now decreed that the Priory shall grant to the Abbey the tithes of grain and vegetables from the 2 ploughlands in East Allerton, in exchange for the tithes of 2 ploughlands of land in West Allerton, and that the Abbey shall pay 3/- more, and shall remit the tithes of 18 acres and one oxgang in East Allerton.. ⟨1204–5.⟩
