Indenture made between (1) John Widmore of Quidhampton in the parish of Overton, Hampshire, warriner, and (2) Ambrose Pearse of Kingsclere, Hampshire, tanner, being an assignment of a lease for 200 years by (1) to (2) of lands in Sherborne St John, Hampshire (signed by John Widmore); endorsed with an assignment dated 18 August 1692 by John Smith of Bradfield, Berkshire, (by right of his wife Katherine, executrix of Ambrose Pearse, deceased) of the lease to Sir William Glynne of Ainersden [Ambrosden], Oxfordshire, baronet, and Thomas Lister of St. Giles in the Fields, Middlesex, esq. (signed and sealed by John Smith and Katherine Smith) .
