Lease. Sherborne St John (Hampshire). 6 Jas. I. June 10, 1608. Indenture made between (1) Sir Pexall Brocas of Steventon, Hampshire, and (2) Raphe [Ralph] Gardyner [Gardiner] of Sherborne St John, Hampshire, yeoman, being a lease for 31 years (with conditions relating to the start of the term) by (1) to (2) of ten parts in twelve parts to be divided of the mansion house of the manor of Cranes with appurtenances, and also lands in the parish of Sherborne St John (signed and sealed by Raphe Gardyner).
