Bond, Marriage settlement. Clewer (Berkshire). 21 Ed. III. August 2, 1347. A mutual bond between Sir John Brocas and three brothers, James, John, and Robert Barry, by which they agree to pay £1,000 To Walter Whithors, and Sir John to pay the same Walter and Isabelle, sister of the Barrys, a rent of £20 from his manor of Clewer (a marriage settlement, on conditions which appear in the accompanying deed, executed two days afterwards, between Sir John, Walter Whithors, and Isabella Barry).
