Nine leaves from an old ledger book of the church of St. Mary, York (formerly in Hatton library), of which the last four, written by a second hand, are numbered by a 15th cent. hand, 55, 56, 59, 60, having several grants entered upon them, including: (eee) Roger de Lascels acknowledges that Robert, the abbot, and convent of St. Mary, York, have granted him and his heirs six carucates of land in Ketelesthorp and Eskeryk, which Pycot his father and others his ancestors held of the said monastery; to held hereditarily at an annual rent of 30s., the monastery to have pasturage for 12 oxen, and three cartloads of wood.
