Ledger, grant. York, Benedictine abbey of St. Mary. [temp. Ed. I] (1307). . Nine leaves from an old ledger book of the church of St. Mary, York (formerly in Hatton library), of which the last four, written by a second hand, are numbered by a 15th cent. hand, 55, 56, 59, 60, having several grants entered upon them, including: (yy) Thomas, the parson of Acastre, grants to the church of St. Mary, York, with his body for buria, the whole of a third part of 12 acres of land in the territory of Acastr' in Raynaldridyng, which he had by the gift of John Malebys ; and likewise the third part of all the land which he has there by the gift of the said John in augmentation.
