Inquisition taken at Gyseburne in Clifland before Roger Lascels, escheator, by virtue of the king's writ to inquire concerning the grant of five skeppas of salt, etc., in West Cotom by Alan Wilton, late lord of the manor of Wilton in Cliveland, about Easter 4 Hen [III] [1220] to the priory of Ellerton and still held by the priory on 22 Sept. an. 41 [1256-1257].
