Fine made at York between Robert, the abbot of Roche, plaintiff, and William, son of Richard de Barneby, defendant, by which the said William permits the abbot to have common of pasture for all his cattle in Barneby, except goats, also his pigs to be quit of pannage in his woods there, also to have 6 cartloads of wood for ever, also to dig turf. A writ of K. Ed. I in pursuance of the same grant with regard to a suit with Abbot Stephen follows, dated at Westminster, 4 Dec. an. 24 (partially illegible).
