All Saints, Wallingford.. ⟨ John Kyng, chaplain, and John Hudyngton ⟩ grant to John Warfeld, senior, (i) the same messuage ⟨[as in MS. Ch. Berks. 136]⟩, (ii) Also a croft called le Conynger’ [i.e. the Warren] between the le Castelstrete on the East, and Bothecrofte on the West, one end abutting on Hundstrete and Henry Deme ’s garden towards the north, the other abutting on the garden late of Richard Tonworth, chaplain, on the south, which they lately had of the gift of John Kyng, chaplain. Witnesses: William Marmyon esq., John Warfeld, mayor, William Bodyngtone , Richard Dalgate , aldermen, John Hertt , Thomas Thornelle , bailiffs. 13 Feb. ⟨1437.⟩
