Wallingford and Clapcote.. Hubert of Hethfeld grants to W⟨allingford⟩ in free alms rents of 5/6 from half a virgate and ½ one acre of land which Henry de Furno holds, lying by Northmulle, in Weyforlong, Thistelforlong, and Monekedene—a total of acres—for the upkeep of a candle weighing two pounds to burn before the image of St. Mary in the south part of the church of the Holy Trinity, during the celebration of mass, and whenever anyone else bums a candle there. Witnesses: Sir Richard de Turri, steward of the honour, Sir Henry de scaccario , Sir Robert Bryand , master John of Pesemer , master John of Tyvener , William son of Simon , Alexander Dublet . ⟨ … ⟩
