Clapcote. Indenture by which sir Edmund Rede, kt., demises to Wm. Herdewik, prior &c. of W⟨allingford⟩, his manors of Ruyschcourt and Clopcote lately held by Thomas Slade and Robert Broun , with 2/- rent from an orchard and garden in W⟨allingford⟩ by Wodestrete on the west and Lekestrete on the east, for 99 years. Rent 40 marks. Given in the chapter-house. 7 Dec. 1465.
