Clapcote. Alan of Goldeburghe grants to William Heron , prior &c. of W⟨allingford⟩ 7½ acres of arable land in C⟨lapcote⟩ , and an acre of meadow, viz.: ½ acre at Hongerhulle, ½ acre in le Flexlonde, above le Pende, 2 acres in Algarsforlong, 1 acre at la Grodelonde, above Algarsforlong, ½ acre near the Shillingford road, 1 acre at Gondricheshulle, 1 acre in Middelforlong (½ acre of which reaches la Rysshepathe), ½ acre not specified, ½ acre in the common meadow ’prout sors condonet annuatim in sorte Alicie Reynaudyn ’, ½ acre similarly ’in sorte Ricardi de Louches ’.
