Clapcote. William son of William the marshal of W⟨allingford⟩ , grants to William Heron, prior , &c. of W⟨allingford⟩ 8 acres of arable land in C⟨lapcote⟩ viz. 3 acres in or abutting on Algarsforlong, ½ acre in le Inlond, between the Shillingford road on the West and le Rysshepathe on the east, 1 acre at Gykendene, 1½ acres Tounforlong, ½ acre in le Thistelforlong, ½ acre in Westlingforlong. Witnesses: Richard de Louches , Gilbert du char , Thomas Aleyn , Thomas of Oterburne , Walter Crips , William Knight, clerk. Given at C⟨lapcote⟩ . ⟨12 March 1334.⟩
