Drayton. J⟨ohn⟩ D⟨Deye⟩ of D⟨aventry⟩, chaplain, grants to Peter de celario of D⟨aventry⟩ one acre of arable land in Drayton, which he had of the gift of Joan late the wife of John Braudestone of D⟨aventry⟩ , viz. ½ acre in the north field between Geoffrey le portere ’s land and the high road to Leicester, ½ acre in the north field above Russhebedds by William Rede ’s land. Given at D⟨aventry⟩ . Witnesses: Simon of D⟨aventry⟩ , John son of Sir Robert of D⟨aventry⟩ , kt. , Robert Simond of the same, John Branfelde of Throp , Geoffrey Portere of Draytone . ⟨30 March⟩ 1349.
