Daventry, Drayton, Norton, and Staverton. Henry the Cook grants to D⟨aventry⟩ , &c., in free alms 4½ acres of land in Drayton which he bought from William Gemme , viz. 2 acres in the field of Norton under the hill by the Welton road; ½ acre beyond Cleiputtis; ½ acre under the hill towards the Welton road; ½ acre on the hill towards Brantemeweie; 1 rood in Tarlbredafu[rlong]; ½ acre in the south field under Stepenhul; ½ acre in Mawalonde; ½ acre over Mersfurlong and 1 rood at Broderusses. Rent: 2d. at Easter. He also confirms two messuages. Witnesses: Simon de Trop , William of D⟨aventry⟩ , William Nigelli (sic), John Baiuel , William Plumstone , Robert Werur . ⟨1250–59.⟩
