Daventry and Drayton, The Symond Holding. William of D⟨aventry⟩ son of the late John of D⟨aventry⟩ , kt., grants to Robert Simond of D⟨aventry⟩ and Henry his son 4 acres of arable land in D⟨aventry⟩ and Drayton, viz. in the south field of D⟨aventry⟩ 1 acre lying together in D⟨aventry⟩ Mawelond by the land late of John le whelwryghte ; ½ acre at le Clerkespath by the land of Simon of Neubolde ; 1 rood by le Park Weye by the land of John of D⟨aventry⟩ . In the south field of Drayton 5 roods under Stepenhulle by the land of Geoffrey le porter of Drayton ; ½ acre at le Grouesithe under le Lede by the land of William Gemme , and in the north field of Drayton ½ acre over Langedone by the land of the same William Gemme .
