Daventry, The Mills. Simon de aula of D⟨aventry⟩ grants to Adam the miller of the same for his homage and service, and a sum of money, a certain house ‘placete mee’ in D⟨aventry⟩ by the grange of Thomas le Barkere , 14 feet in length by the royal way, and in breadth from the high road to the court of Alice Swyrkedale .
