The deed once had five seals; Emma's seal was probably in the centre, but it has perished; on either side were the seals of the executors of which portions remain. The two outer seals have perished.
Seal: On the left, pointed oval, about 1 inch by 5/8 inches the Virgin and Child Legend: ‘[SIG' AL]ICIE DE [ ]’
Seal: On the right, circular, 1 inch in diameter A shield Legend: ‘SIGILL' [ALANI HOSTI]ARII’
