Needham Street (Needham-Street). 1338. Bond from John Aumener of Needham Street (Nedham) to Thomas Nichole of the same, undertaking for himself and his wife Joan, to pay to Thomas 40 shillings in the event of his being disppossessed, by writ at the plea of the said Joan, of 2.5 acres of land, wherewith John has enfeoffed him. Dated, at Needham Street (Nedham) on Friday [18 Sept.] after the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, 12 Ed. III [1338]
