Higham (Higham ). 1347. Release from Edmund, son of Thomas, son of Thomas of Heigham , to Margaret his sister, of his right in lands etc. helpd by her in the vills and fields of Heigham and Cavenham (Cauenham), as described in a charter drawn up for her by Andrew of Swafham, and Thomas Clyster of Gazeley (Gaislee), chaplains. Dated at Thaxted (Thaxstede) in the feast of SS. Philip and James, 21 Ed. III [1 May 1347] Witnesses: John Benge, Robert Cartere, Nicholas Cartere of Thaxted (Thaxstede), Hugh Welde, John Fiches, and others. The seal is wanting.
