Higham (Higham etc). 1340-1341. Power of attorney from Richard atte Monekis of Higham (Heyham), to John, his son, to deliver Thomas, also son of the said Richard, seisin of a messuage in Gaysle, with 15 acres of arable land in the fields of Gaysle, Heyham and Nedaham. Dated, at Higham (Heyham) on Wednesday [14 March] after the feast of St Gregory, Pope, 15 Ed. III [1340-1341]. The seal is wanting. Endorsed: Relacacio Ricardi atte Munkes.
