Gazeley. 1315. Grant from Robert le Waleys of Higham (Heyham) to John Fyhs[sic] and Sarra his wife and William their son, for a certain sum of money, of an acre of arable land in the parish of Gaisle in a field called "le Doune" between the lands of Hugh le Couherde and Margery le Heyward, abutting on the lands of Thomas Egeline of the said John Fyhs. Dated at Higham (Heyham) on Tuesday [27 May] after the feast of St Augustine of the English. 8 Edw. II (1315). Witnesses. Thomas Passeleu, Walter de Saham, Thomas son of Thomas, Roger Robbe, Albric the Clark and others. The seal is wanting.
