OXFORD (St. Michael's, South). Alemandina, daughter 'of Geoffrey le Wauter , and Christiana, daughter of the said Alemandina, grant to Alice de Monkenelane the whole of that land which Walter le Corvesor' (shoemaker) sometime had, which land lies between the land of Walter de Farendon and the land of Reginald alderman, weaver, in Southbridge street ("Suthbriggestrate"), in the parish of St. Michael's south, Oxford. (c. 1210-20.) Witn. Pentecost, etc.
