HINCKSEY, Berks. William de Musewell and Joan de Boteleye his wife, quit-claim to the church of Oseney all their right in a spring of water in the field of Hincksey (North Hinksey or South Hinksey) which is called 'Reve-mores-well,' and in all the rivulets and water-courses running to or from the said spring to the abbey. (c. 1260-80.) .
