William, son of Helias , grants to the church and canons of St. Frideswide, in frankalmoigne, the church of Wormenhale with territories, crofts, and areas adjacent, with one virgate and a half of land in the same village; also he confirms the gift of Otvelus of the island , likewise of 2 acres which Joce gave to the same church. (c. 1200-1210.) [Mutilated.] [Wigram no. 862] .
