SUNNINGWELL, co. Berks. An acknowledgment given by Robert de Caumpdene, rector of Sunningwell , to the prioress and convent of Lyttlemore, that the tithes arising out of the demesne of Katherine Paygnel , about which there had been a dispute between them, shall be held by the said Robert for the term of his life only, he paying to the said convent 20s. annually: after his death the said tithes to be held by the said convent. Dated at Abingdon, 2 Nones Apl., 1303.
