MUSCOTE. Indenture witnessing that, whereas John Chapeleyn of Norton, near Daventre , is bound to William Smyth of Muscote, husbandman, in £100, payable at the feast of Easter next; yet the said William grants by these presents that if he and his assigns hold peaceably those lands &c. in Mucote which the said John demised to him by charter, then the said bond to be void.
