Richard de Chaddesleye and Thomas de Knokyn appointed by Walter, archbishop of Canterbury , to visit the archdeaconry of Oxford, certify that they have examined the privileges, muniments and other instruments of the prior and convent of Wallingford, concerning the appropriation of the church of Aston, a pension of 100s. from the church of Gersingdon, 7s. from the church of Chinnor, a portion of the tithe of Mongewell estimated at one mark, and l0s. from Tonfeld. Dated at Bampton, 9 Kal. April, 1319.
