WESTHAM. Indenture dated 17 July, 6 Edward VI, reciting a former indenture dated 12 August, 26 Hen. VIII, in which William Huddleston, the abbot, and the convent of Stratford Langthorne, co. Essex, demised to one Hamlett Shaw certain parcels of land in Westham for 41 years. This indenture witnesseth that Margery Cheshire , relict of Thomas Cheshire , for a certain sum of money sells to John Goodwin of Overwinchindon, Bucks , the remainder of the term of the said above recited lease.
