LOUND. Alice de Lund, daughter of Ralph de Pesehale, grants to Robert, son of Edstan de Caldecotes (Caldecot near Fritton, Suffolk?), ten acres and half a rood of land in Lound (Lund) some near the way as you go from Lund to Rotepet towards the east, some in Kirkefurlong, some near the way going from the monastery of Lund in Boyton to the north, etc.; paying annually 12d., and giving now two bisants. (c. 1190-1200.)
