Richard, son of Katherine of St. Edmund, grants to Robert, the prior, and the brethren of the hospital of St. Peter all right to 6d. annual rent which he was accustomed to take from the said brethren for one acre of arable land in Hamerlound. (c. 1260-70.) Witn. Geoffrey, alderman, William son of Bartholomew and William da Walepole, bailiffs Adam de Westle, etc.
