Indenture made 10 November, 35 Hen. VIII (1543), by which Richard Freston of Mendham, esq., lord of the manor of Wickham Skeith (Wyhamskeyth), in consideration of the receipt of .90, demises unto John Brame (or Branne) of Stoke Ash (Stokeasshe), yeoman, certain land in Wickham Skeith (Wykhamskeyth) for the term of three hundred years, at an annual rent of iiiid.
