STOKE NAYLOND. Indenture made 5 February, 3 Ed. VI (1549), by which the right to the presentation of the vicarage of Stoke by Nayland (Stoke Naylond) is adjudged to belong to William, bishop of Norwich, and acknowledged by Thomas Throughgood of London, gentleman, between whom an action concerning the right to the same had been instituted, and by Thomas Ruddock, vicar of Stoke by Nayland (Stoke Naylond).
